These are the results in the top five most expensive Pennsylvania State Senate elections

General elections for 26 of 50 districts in the Pennsylvania State Senate took place on Nov. 8, 2022. Of the 26 districts up for election in 2022, 22 had a General election with more than one candidate.
Across all contested General elections, candidates raised $22.4 million. Incumbents raised an average of $575,475 per candidate and challengers raised an average of $418,590 per candidate.

Lindsey Williams won with 56 percent of the vote and Lori Mizgorski received 44 percent of the vote.
#2 District 24 – $2,458,152
Tracy Pennycuick raised $2,119,944 and Jill Dennin raised $338,207.
Tracy Pennycuick won with 52 percent of the vote and Jill Dennin received 48 percent of the vote.
#3 District 6 – $2,426,102
Frank Farry raised $1,881,416, Ann Marie Mitchell raised $544,686, and Brandon Bentrim raised $0.
Frank Farry won with 53 percent of the vote, Ann Marie Mitchell received 45 percent of the vote, and Brandon Bentrim received 2 percent of the vote.
#4 District 40 – $1,788,538
Rosemary Brown raised $1,504,292, Jennifer Shukaitis raised $284,246, and Joel Getz raised $0.
Rosemary Brown won with 55 percent of the vote, Jennifer Shukaitis received 45 percent of the vote, and Joel Getz withdrew.
#5 District 16 – $1,420,081
Jarrett Coleman raised $1,206,566 and Mark Pinsley raised $213,514.
Jarrett Coleman won with 55 percent of the vote and Mark Pinsley received 45 percent of the vote.
