In California politics, state-level candidates and officeholders raised $304.0 million between Jan. 1, 2021, and Sept. 24, 2022. More than $80.6 million, or 27 percent, of all donations reported by candidate committees, were raised by the 10 individuals at the top of the list.

PACs not associated with a candidate are not included in the values above.
The data above are based on campaign finance reports that active California PACs submitted to the California Secretary of State. Political expenditures that are not controlled by candidates or their campaigns, known as satellite spending, are not included in candidate totals. Federal PACs are not required to report to state agencies.
