In the swing state of North Carolina, Truth and Prosperity, Inc. earns its spot among the state’s list of top ten PACs with its large war chest and limited government platform.

According to the organization’s website, Truth and Prosperity, Inc.’s mission is to “identify and support qualified candidates and elected officials who promise to pursue an agenda of free enterprise, limited government, individual liberties, and traditional American family values with honesty, integrity, and transparency.”

The PAC was launched in 2016 by businessman and political consultant Alfredo Rodriguez, who told WRAL.com that the organization’s primary goal was to support the re-election of Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest. For 2020, the PAC is supporting Forest in his bid for governor against incumbent Democrat Roy Cooper, and Paul Newby in his campaign for North Carolina Supreme Court chief justice.

Truth and Prosperity, Inc. has raised $860,279.85 for 2020, with the organization’s top contributions coming in the amount of $100,000 from John Stephen Vanderwoude and Phil Drake, respectively.
